InnovaGeek Robotics 🇮 🇬 🇷

InnovaGeek Robotics is an Algerian deep-tech startup specializing in advanced aerial and legged robotic systems, founded by inventor and robotics engineer Lotfi Rouana. The company focuses on designing high-performance, field-ready technologies for complex industrial and environmental applications.

At the intersection of engineering, artificial intelligence, and applied research, InnovaGeek brings together a multidisciplinary team of doctors, professors, and researchers from leading Algerian institutions. This strong scientific foundation enables the development of robust, intelligent systems that bridge the gap between research and real-world deployment.

InnovaGeek’s core technologies combine long-endurance aerial platforms with advanced hexapod legged robots, offering complementary capabilities for operations in challenging environments.

The company’s inspection drone delivers up to one hour of flight time, setting a new performance standard in its category. Equipped with onboard computing, advanced sensors, and thermal imaging, it provides real-time data acquisition and analysis for mission-critical inspections.

Complementing this capability, InnovaGeek’s hexapod robotic platform is engineered for mobility and adaptability in complex terrains where wheeled or aerial systems alone are insufficient. Designed as a modular system, it supports a range of payloads for inspection, monitoring, and specialized operations in constrained or high-risk environments.

InnovaGeek Robotics is committed to building reliable, scalable robotic solutions while contributing to the emergence of a high-value deep-tech ecosystem in Algeria. By combining local scientific talent with global engineering standards, the company positions itself as a bridge between innovation, industry, and international collaboration

InnovaGeek Robotics is developing a next-generation system to address one of Algeria’s most critical long-term challenges: desertification. This initiative is engineered for extreme environmental conditions and designed for scalable, real-world deployment.

At its core is the Digital Food Forest (DFF), an integrated intelligence framework combining autonomous robotics, environmental sensing, and AI-driven analytics. Built on our in-house robotic platforms and deep learning systems, DFF enables continuous environmental monitoring, microclimate mapping, and predictive ecological analysis, supporting data-driven land regeneration strategies.

This is not a theoretical concept, but an active deep-tech development effort that integrates robotics, artificial intelligence, and environmental engineering into a unified operational system.

In parallel with its technological development, InnovaGeek Robotics has already achieved strong international recognition. During its first participation in a global startup competition, the company reached a Top 5 position and subsequently advanced to Top 3 at the IFJ International Competition 2025, held on 4 September 2025 in Lausanne.

This result is particularly significant given the level of competition, where hundreds of established European and Swiss startups many already well-funded and structurally mature competed on the same stage. Despite this, InnovaGeek Robotics ranked among the top performers, demonstrating early international competitiveness and strong technological differentiation.

This milestone marks an early validation of InnovaGeek Robotics as a deep-tech company capable of meeting European standards from its first international exposure

Innovageek Robotics delivers a diverse range of innovative products tailored to address the unique challenges of various industries. From specialized UAVs and UGVs for inspection, industrial, and agricultural applications to advanced robotic systems aimed at combating desertification through micro-climate generation, Innovageek is committed to pioneering technology that creates impactful solutions and enhances lives.
